what are the great neighborhoods in Barcelona to live?

Hi all, we are moving in August to barcelona from Brooklyn, NY, what are the better neighborhoods to live in? We have 2 dogs and 2 toddlers, so laid back, easy to walk, stores, etc. Thanks Kirsten
