Hello,
I live in Aspe near Alicante.I have two girls who are 9 and 10.It never seems too early to think about secondary schools. The schools in our towns have not had ‘rave revues’by alot of the parents,so,I was wondering about the possibility of ‘concertada’ schools.I was hoping for some advice from other parents and maybe any teachers who use this site. How do you enrole your child into one of these schools? The fee’s?Any advice would be most welcome.I am under the impression that they are inbetween a private and a public school. Can anyone help, please?

Hi Julie,
Did you see our article about schools in Spain? There’s a bit about concertadas on there.

My impression is that it’s a nice middle ground between the public/private school systems.
