Hello Everybody, Im Hayley and I currently live and work in Barcelona. Im employed by Citibank on a temporary basis and have done so for a year paying credits. Before this I worked in London for about 4 yrs plus, again paying NI credits.

I have been made redundant by my employer and am Pregnant with the baby due (find if its a boy or girl Mon!!!) July. Im looking to find out what benefits or any I can claim or any 1 off payments paid out?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks All

Hi Hayley,

I am sorry I havent any idea about the queries you raised, I am sorry no one more knowledgeable than myself has been in touch to reply yet but I am sure they will - might be worth asking around in the Living In forum, as I know there are people here who have been through pregnancy and childbirth in Spain.  Meantime I just wanted to say congratulations and good luck, hope the scan went well,

Maya x

Hey All, I know this thread is a bit dated, but I wanted to update it with an article we recently published on pregnancies in Spain.

If anyone here has follow up info on their pregnancies ? good things, bad things, advice ? I’m sure others would appreciate it as well.
