Hi,
We are seriously considering leaving Canada to move to Spain and buy a nice country house/finca/cortijo to start a holiday home for weekly rental.  Is this a smart idea business wise?
Do holiday rentals usually cover the cost?
Thanks for sharing your experiences.

The market isn’t what it used to be by any means… might be a good time to buy, but unlikely you’ll get the kind of occupancy you’d have gotten a few years ago.
