we have our phone and internet with telefonica.
up until recently we were able to get wireless connection on the laptop.  for some reason unable to get this anymore can only access internet via cable.

the wireless connection is showing connected and a full strength signal.  the router we have is called zyzgel.

any ideas would be much appreciated.

First suggestion: unplug all everything, wait 5 minutes and plug it all back in. That’ll reset it all.

OK hope this does not get too technical

first connect up via cable
then go to IE (or the browser you use)
in the address bar put in http://192.168.1.1
this should connect you to your router
you then need to get to the wireless section (not sure where that will be on this router)
you then need to find what the “passkey” or “key” is depending on what type of security you are running.
once you have this you need to go into the wireless section on windows.
once there the best way is to remove your existing connection
then look for a network.
it should now find your network and prompt you for a key
put in the key you found in the router.
hopefully it should now connect and all work.
