hi. i’m debating whether to open a citibank espana account or just rely on withdrawing cash from my american citibank account. i’m trying to avoid the 3 percent transaction fee for using the latter, but i’ve heard even citibank espana accounts involve lots of fees that will add up to more than 3 percent anyway.

i spoke with citibank usa, and they will charge me nothing for transferring money to a citibank espana account.

any advice? thanks

I heard about this too. Sounds like a good idea, though I guess you’d have to confirm what the fees were for a Citibank account Espa?a. If you do find out can you post back to let us know?

Thanks!
