Hi, we have just reserved a plot on an urbanisation called Montesol near Granada and plan to retire there next year.  I wondered if there were any publications (like SUR) for Expats in Granada.  I just want something that will have listings for English speaking workmen, plumbers, electricians etc.  We are learning Spanish but will be a while before we can speak fluently (if ever).

Hi Billie & Kev, welcome to the forum.

Have you tried searching for “granada directory” yet? I found the following site which seems to have some of the info you’re looking for, although it’s a bit sketchy and sparse. Here

Wow that was quick !  I can see I will be using this forum a lot more in the future.  Thank you so much that is brilliant for now.  It is a bit sketchy as you say but it’s a start.

Yeah, glad it helps. Keep searching for “granada directory”, and keep your eyes out for a local English paper or magazine when you’re down there. Touristy restaurants and stores often have something like this. Ask around at any expat owned shops you come across too.

Good luck!
