Register with the Town Hall: Empadronarse

All residents moving to or relocating within Spain have to registered with the local city or town hall (ayuntamiento). This involves paperwork, setting up an appointment, and potentially waiting in lines.

Alternatively, in some cities it's possible to empadronarse online, either through an identity verification system or using the gestor's digital ID certificate (cl@ve).

Hire a gestor to:

• help you collect your paperwork
• either:
  • set up the correct cita previa appointment and fill out the required forms 
  • or submit the required forms (online, if available)
